Flo Rida Graduation Party

A client we’ve worked with several times reached out to us to help make his son’s graduation party unforgettable. The party was being held in the outdoor pavilion at Houston Oaks Country Club, but they wanted us to transform the space into an amazing nightclub. Since the venue has no walls, we enclosed the sides with black pipe and drape. Then we brought in 1’ tall staging and created VIP seating areas in the back of the room and VIP standing areas on the sides of the dance floor, near the main stage, for the parents.

We filled the VIP seating areas with lounge furniture and color changing LED coffee tables. We then used 3’ tall pipe and drape to close off the front and back of each section, and roped off the sides with gold stanchions and red velvet ropes with gold hooks. We also roped off the VIP standing areas with ropes and stanchions. 

Our client wanted the whole place lit up and looking incredible, and we did not disappoint. We brought in metal truss towers with white spandex covers and color changing LED up lights. We put moving head lights on top of the light towers and had them spinning and changing colors with the music. We put our unique, really cool tube lights around the room changing colors. We placed color changing LED cocktail tables around the room and outside by the bar. And, we hung two disco balls from the ceiling with motors so they spun. 

Our client hired Flo Rida to perform, and he put on an awesome show. He did all of his hits, and the crowd went nuts. Kids and parents were all dancing and jumping and down. They were also taking full advantage of our furniture because they were going so hard they had to rest from time to time. Afterward, everyone talked about what a great show it was, but also how incredible the room looked. People couldn’t believe it was the same open air pavilion. It was definitely one of the most unforgettable events we’ve done.
